DUI REDUCED TO RECKLESS DRIVING – WITHHOLD OF ADJUDICATION (AUGUST 2008)
Defendant was stopped for speeding and drifting within his lane. On video, defendant refused to perform field sobriety exercises and later refused to provide a breath sample. Stephen Higgins was able to reach a negotiated resolution on the eve of trial with the state attorney to get the charge reduced and keep defendant from being adjudicated of any charges.
